Portrait of a Fencer

Nicole discovered fencing as a hobby some time ago and talked to me a while ago that she would like to have a photo shoot in her fencing outfit.

A few weeks later, we let the words follow deeds and took some portrait photos in their fencing hall.

I always find it exciting to take pictures of new places and new situations – this is also the reason why I am not a studio photographer.

But I was particularly happy about a portrait shoot with fencing as a topic, because I used to practise martial arts myself and more often thought about starting fencing.

I never started with it, but at least I had a very close look at this very elegant sport as a photographer.
